How can this site be free?

Our site was developed to help non-profit organizations, corporations and clubs organize and execute golf events. There are over 1 million golf events held annually in the U.S. Until now, there was no on-line planning tool that provided everything from a free tournament website, to marketing tools, to promotion of an event.

We are supported by advertising from golf companies and from tournaments that purchase tournament products and services from our tournament shop. You have no obligation to purchase anything and we will not ask for a credit card anytime during the process unless you wish to purchase something from the tournament shop or you choose to upgrade your event.

Is my information secure?

We are committed to safeguarding customer information and combating fraud. We have implemented industry leading security initiatives, and your information is protected by the strongest encryption methods and security protocols available.  

What happens during the Wizard?

We will ask you questions that apply to organizing a golf event. The questions are based on our experience in organizing an event and focuses on your event date, course, format, sponsorships and events. Once you complete the Wizard (usually takes 6 -10 minutes), you will see a Tournament Summary. At that point you can also publish your website instantly and be ready to accept player and sponsor registrations. It is that easy. From the tournament summary, you will be able to click on links to change details on your events, see reports, send e-mails to potential players and sponsors and set up player pairings. There are help screens throughout the Wizard and on every section. In addition, you can call us toll-free at 888-476-3777 at anytime during business hours ( 8-5 ET) or e-mail us at support@golfplannerhelp.com  for technical support.

Do you sell any of the information gathered on the site?

We do not sell our contact information with any third party.

What is your return policy?

We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We want you to be happy with all merchandise and services purchased through the Golf Digest Planner.

Merchandise that has not been customized can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Merchandise must be returned in good condition and the buyer is responsible for shipping costs.

If we are responsible for any error in merchandise shipped and received by you, we will replace the items or issue a credit. We will pay shipping to return all items where we are at fault.

What is your credit policy?

Payment is required at the time of each order.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can reserve a Tournament package for $100 and pay the balance 30 days before your event.

How should we submit artwork for you signs, banners and other items?

Artwork should be provided in an electronic format (jpg, eps, bmp) at a minimum 300 dpi. Once you order a item, our customer service department with forward instruction to you on where to submit the artwork.

How do you handle credit card processing for my event?

You can set up payment processing using your own PayPal Business Account, Google Checkout or Authorize.net (event upgrade required). This will allow players and sponsors to pay you directly via MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. Or you can use our payment processing option. With this option, we process the credit card transaction and transfer the funds to you with our "Pay Me Now" link on your tournament summary page. These is a 4.9% processing fee for these transaction to cover all credit card and bank transfer fees.

Why should I upgrade my event?

The free version of the Golf Digest Planner is has everything you need for a successful event. However, you can upgrade your event to add more features including:

1. The ability to use your own PayPal Business Account, Google Checkout or Authorize.net to process online payments with no fees from the Golf Digest Planner.

2. You can select from of our premium website templates which provide greater visibility for sponsors on your home page.

3. You have a toll-free technical support. Support is always available for free via e-mail but this allows you to talk directly to a technical support person.

4. You have a personal contact manager feature to increase the marketing power of the Golf Digest Planner to potential players and sponsors.
