Engineers Without Borders Charity Golf Tournament

The Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for December 5th at 9am, due to rain. If you have not yet registered and are still interested in playing registration will be open until November 28th.

Please join us for the Engineers without Borders Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the community and school of Lower Allentown, Sierra Leone on December 5, 2008. We have extended our registration deadline to November 7th.

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is a non-profit tax deductible organization (501(c)3) that works with 3rd world countries to better their lives through sustainable projects. Currently, the NCSU EWB is working with a community in Bolivia and Sierra Leone. In both communities we are working on designing and implementing a process to clean their water so it is no longer a threat to their health. In Sierra Leone we are also working on bring a school renewable energy so they may have lights and fans. (Click here for a link to the NCSU EWB website where you can learn more about our projects)

We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful River Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh, NC (www.golfriverridge.com). The event will include a 4-person scramble, lunch, competitions, and awards receptions following the golf. Registration and warm-up will begin at 8am, with the tournament beginning at 9am.

The grand prize for the team that wins the tournament will be a 2-day yatching cruise for four out of Minnesott Beach, NC.
