Cars 4 Hero's benefiting our Military

Please join us for the Cars 4 Hero's golf tournament to benefit our military heros on August 21, 2008. We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful Falcon Ridge Golf Course in Lenexa, KS (www.falconridgegolf.com). Featured events for the day will include: Putting Contest, Hole in One Contests, Sponsor Gifts, Player Gifts, Prizes and Awards, Auction and much more. Also come golf with some of the best past and present sports figures and local celebrities. Cars 4 Christmas is a Missouri not for profit that provides free basic transportation to less fortunate individuals and families that are unable to obtain transportation on their own. We give used vehicles to about 300 people in Kansas , Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa each year. This year's summer project is the first annual Cars 4 Hero's golf tournament and silent auction.. The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to helping Veterans with transportation. There will be local celebrities and Veterans there. We will be giving 20 cars away during our Cars 4 Hero's event at our golf tournament on August 21st. All recipients will be Veterans or Veterans families that are unable to obtain transportation on their own. We would like to have a strong presence of Veterans and organizations helping Veterans at our event to help us pass out keys.. .
