About River Forest Country Club

1. Par 4, 293 yards. Very friendly opening par 4, protected in front by large evergreens and trapped with 2 sand Bunkers on the right.

2. Par 4, 300 yards. Hug the left side and you'll be rewarded with a short iron to a large green on this dog-leg right par 4.

3. Par 5, 554 yards. This tree lined par 5 needs 3 great shots to reach in regulation the green sits behind a beautiful lake with fountain.

4. Par 3, 148 yards. A smooth mid iron will provide a birdie opportunity on this attractive par 3.

5. Par 4, 357 yards. A placement shot off the tee will leave an uphill shot to a narrow green protected in front and to the left by sand.

6. Par 4, 360 yards. A good drive will leave a beautiful down hill view of the par 4 don't be left.

7. Par 4, 350 yards. A challenging second shot required here to a flat green guarded on the left and right with sand.

8. Par 3, 150 yards. A slightly uphill par 3 all the trouble is left.

9. Par 4, 333 yards. Another beautiful tree lined par 4 requires a second shot placed right side of the sloping left green.

10. Par 4, 370 yards. One of the longest par 4's requires a well placed tee shot and a long iron into this large green.

11. Par 5, 525 yards. A true tree shot par 5. Two good shots will leave a mid iron in.

12. Par 4, 365 yards. Keep the drive to the left of center in par 4 and you'll be rewarded with a view of the elevated green.

13. Par 3, 151 yards. A smooth mid iron will provide a birdie opportunity. Stay clear of the bunkers both left and right.

14. Par 5, 465 yards. A beautiful view of this par 5 from the elevated tee box requires a straight shot on all three shots because of the tree lined fairway.

15. Par 4, 310 yards. A dog-leg right to a sloping back to front green makes this par 4 a very demanding putting hole.

16. Par 4, 345 yards. Cut the corner on this dog-leg right and you'll be in jail. So keep the drive left and you'll have a short to mid iron in.

17. Par 3, 117 yards. Our shortest par 3 is not to be under rated because of well bunkered green.

18. Par 4, 322/330 yards. This finishing hole requires a straight tee shot leaving an up hill short iron to a left to right sloping green.

Driving Directions:

from Pittsburgh, follow Route 28 North To Exit 17, Freeport/Butler

Follow Route 356 South to Freeport, approximately 1 mile. Go to bottom of hill.

A sign, "LEECHBURG -RT 356 S" will direct you to cross high-level bridge.

At end of bridge, you will make a right at the sign, "RIVER FOREST."

Another sign at entrance will direct you to parking and the Clubhouse.

· Note: It Is Approximately 2.5 miles from Route 28, Exit 17 To River Forest Clubhouse.
