Mount Vernon High School Alumni Golf Tourney

Please join us for the inaugural Mount Vernon High School Alumni Golf Tourney on August 2, 2008.

We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful Laurel Hill Golf Club in Lorton, VA (www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/golf/laurelhill/).

The event will be a 4-ball scramble. Start time of 9:00 is tentative. Featured events being planned at this time:

Breakfast, Box Lunch at the turn, Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive Contests, and other gifts and prizes.

We are looking for corporate and private donors. Sponsor levels are on our Sponsors page. Sponsor registration is open at this time. Contact us to learn more at mvhs78golf@cox.net.

The number of events and prize availability will be decided based upon the amount of sponsorships and donations.

Golf Outing Information and Beneficiaries

This event is held in conjunction with the Mount Vernon High School Class of 1978 30^th Class Reunion.  This event is open to all, regardless of any or no affiliation with Mount Vernon High School.

The desire of the class is to provide a monetary gift to the Mount Vernon High School PTSA to be used at their discretion.  Non-monetary items, such as remaining gift bags or prizes, will be offered by the class to the Mount Vernon High School PTSA to support school programs at their discretion.

The Class of 1978 30^th Class Reunion event may also benefit from the golf outing.

There will be no monetary prizes.
