12th Annual Wheels Of Dreams Celebrity Golf Fundraiser

Our mission is to provide positive role models, entrepreneur lessons, mentors and employment opportunities to inner city, underserved and at-risk youth.  The program provides supplemental educational curriculum designed to take back the community from the negative influences of drugs, gangs and violence.

The Wheels of Dreams Youth Foundation hopes to prepare students for the world of work, provide the message of hard work and discipline to achieve positive dreams, improve communities and the lives of youth.  The Wheels of Dreams program consists of a mobile "classroom on wheels" which offers interactive computer educational lessons in English and Spanish free to the public.

The Wheels of Dreams Youth Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational program that also helps inner-city, and underserved students with mentoring, teen entrepreneurial ideas, basic and advanced computer skills, job career, college planning, money management tips, college scholarship opportunities and encourages healthy lifestyle choices.

Since its inception in 2003, more than 12,000 students have taken part in the Wheels of Dreams bus program.  "Since we began our strategic alliances eight years ago with the Greater Atlanta McDonald's Operator Association, The Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, The Coca-Cola Company, Gateway, WSB-TV, V-103, Equifax, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Atlanta Public Schools, After-School All-Stars, Georgia State University, Mayor Shirley Franklin and those who have participated in our Celebrity Golf Classic we all have continued to make dreams come true for youth who really need our help," said BMOA President Vicki Phelps-Chancellor.
