4th Annual Lake Ridge Golf Tournament

Please join us for the 4th annual Lakeridge Golf Tournament. Our tournament this year is scheduled for September 17th with an 8:30 shotgun start.

Thanks to all our sponsors and participants last year we were able to make several meaningful contributions to support our community. We donated another scholarship to Happy Hill Farm & Academy, canned food to the Cedar Hill food pantry and we made cash donations donations to both the Cedar Hill food pantry and the Cedar Hill Library. In conjunction with our corporate sponsors we are also in the process of outfitting the Cedar Hill Recreation Center with a computer lab to support after school programs.

The Golf Committee this year has decided to once again benefit the local fire department. This last year brought some very heavy ice storms. When there is ice on the roads it is even more important that our emergency services are available and that means emergency vehicles need to be able to navigate the roads. There are chains especially made for fire trucks but they are a bit pricey. This last year the fire department tried using other chains but they went through several sets in an effort to make certain that they could get to those in need. The primary proceeds from this years tournament will go to purchasing chains designed for use on the trucks used by the local firehouse. We are very excited about this as this is a really good cause and it will directly benefit our local community.

We hope that everyone will also join us once again in the canned food drive for the local food pantry in the swap for Mulligan's program after you buy two(2) Mulligan's @ $5 each you can exchange up to 10 cans of food for two (2) additional Mulligans.

We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful Tangle Ridge Golf Course in Grand Prairie, TX (www.tangleridge.com). The event will include a 4-person scramble, a full buffet lunch, raffle and an awards reception following the tournament play.

We are very excited about the prize packages for this years tournament including:

- $1,000 gift card to the first place team

- $500 gift card to the second place team

- 2 Hole-in-One contest - Putting contest - raffle prizes and giveaways


The tournament rules will be released by September 1st and handed out prior to play. We will determine handicap by scoring three holes to be determined by a blind drawing following play.
