About Richmond Country Club

Richmond Country Club, owned & operated by the Hendrick Family is an 18 Hole Championship Golf     Course sculpted out of a pine forest with Bent grass greens, tees & fairways that give our public course a beautifully manicured private feel. Golf Digest, in it’s “500 Best Courses to Play” issue, ranked Richmond Country Club the Number One Public Golf to Play in Rhode Island. For the past several years Richmond has also earned a Four Star Rating from Golf Digest Places to Play & The USA Today has recognized Richmond Country Club to be the Best Value in the State. 

IMPORTANT - There has been some comments about the golf course not being in perfect shape.  Two members from the JPCA Golf Committee visited the site on 8/20/10.  We rode the golf course and took pictures which on on the link below.  There are three greens being worked on and every Mon/Wed they are aerating the course.  There was a tournament there that day and we polled about 28 golfers 80 - 85% stated the course was fine to golf on and were happy with the course.  This is an important event for JPCA and we need to take care of the weeds in the pond.  This fundraiser will help continue our weed study and allow JPCA to come up with solutions.
