It is estimated that at least 100 Million children, teens and adults worldwide need a wheelchair but cannot afford one. Recent research estimates that the number can be as high as 6% of the population in developing countries. In Guatemala, that translates to roughly 820,542 people that don’t have mobility and live on less than $2 per day. This is why Entrust Arizona is proud to support Advance Guatemala & the Wheelchair Foundation in hosting the GOLF4WHEELS charity golf tournament. The goal is to raise $42,000, which covers the cost of manufacturing, shipping and delivering 280 wheelchairs to Guatemala in 2010!!!
