UWSF 2nd Annual Baton Rouge Charity Golf Tournament

Please join us for the 2nd Annual United Warrior Survivor Foundation Veterans Day Charity Golf Tournament to be held on November 8, 2009. The United Warrior Survivor Foundation supports all Surviving Spouses of Special Operations Command Personnel (USSOCOM) that have fallen in the Global War on Terrorism and remains the only organization of its kind today. We will have a great day of golf at the beautiful Santa Maria Golf Course. Come spend the day visiting with Surviving Spouses of Special Operations Forces and Representatives from Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Be sure to arrive early before the tournament begins and meet with members of Naval Special Warfare to learn more about their role in USSOCOM. The doors OPEN AT 10:00 am.

Take time to browse our Silent Auction items. We have items including a United States Flag (with Certificate of Authenticity) Flown over a United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Base in Iraq, A Special Edition Navy SEAL Knife, an Autographed Guitar Donated by Country Music Artists, Brooks and Dunn, an Autographed Stetson donated by Country Music Artist Trace Adkins, A dress shirt signed by Montgomery Gentry and Jersey signed by Keith Urban. For those local tastes, we have variety of LSU Autographed Sports Memorabilia, among many others. Special donation items from various SOCOMM units will also be available. Don't forget the loads of door prizes!

The event will include a 4-person best ball. Registration and Silent Auction will open at 10:00. A Causal Lunch will begin at 11:00. The Tournament will begin at 12:00 and will finish with food and closing of the silent auction 1/2 hour after the end of play and presentation of the Awards.
